"Phuturefunk", the debut DJ 19 album, will be available on Feb 1st via beatport too.
“Rainforest” is taken from DJ 19's long awaited debut album, "Phuturefunk". It’s a cover version of DJ 19’s namesake artist, Paul Hardcastle. Herein, we have DJ 19’s revised version. The original electro feel is there, but modern house beats and other elements have been added. For the single, DJ 19 has re-arranged the album version to have a devastating effect on the dance floor. The result is an impressive reproduction that both updates and retains the integrity of the original.
Just in time for the debut album release "Phuturefunk", DJ 19 joined forces with japanese top club download sites, KINGBEAT & WASABEAT to do a remix contest for a track from it. We are looking forward to your creative ideas...no rules, just good music...whatever you want to make of the song: House, Electro, Techno, Trance, Ambient, Hiphop, Chill, Pop...go for it !

-All genre based remixes will be excepted
-To Enter: Purchase the parts for 100YEN
-All Remixes Submitted for this contest become the legal property of 19BOX RECORDINGS
PRIZE:
-Winner will receive voucher on KINGBEAT & WASABEAT valued at 10000YEN
-The winning remix will also get an Exclusive Release via KINGBEAT & WASABEAT and royalties at there
FORMAT:
-Submit the remix in an WAV or AIFF format via a personal FTP and/or Sendspace.com or similar link
DEADLINE:
