Hot Station strike back on the 19BOX imprint with another fantastic cover version following their previous release ‘The Groove’. The original ‘Roadblock’ was released in 1987 by Stock Aitken Waterman. Hot Station have remodeled it to feature the vocals Avril “Starfire”Aiken. Avril. On remix duties is one of our favourite producers - Moussa Clarke & Freakbreak. There isn’t much we need to say about Moussa. He is well known under the PF Project, Tzant and Musique monikers. This time he has teamed up with an awesome bass music producer from Ukraine, Freakbeak. Together they go straight for the jugular and produce a wonderful glitch hop remix.

HOT STATION(DJ 19 + HIDEOUT)によるカヴァー・シリーズ第2弾は、カイリー・ミノーグやリック・アストリーを筆頭に数多くのヒットを手掛けたプロデューサー集団、STOCK AITKEN WATERMANの初シングル曲「Roadblock」（1987年全英13位）をピックアップ。ヴォーカルはSHINHEADの妹でもあるSTARFIREをフィーチュア。オリジナルを忠実に再現しながらも、エレクトロ・ヒップ・ファンク色を加味した2ヴァージョンに対し、イギリスのMOUSSA CLARKEがウクライナの新星ベース・プロデューサー、FREAKBREAKと手を組んだグリッチ・ホップ系のリミックスも収録。
